The Governor’s office announced that 2013 was a record year for the Illinois film industry, which generated $358 million in spending, resulting in more than 4,200 full-time equivalent jobs.
Much of that success was due to the production of 6 television series in and around Chicago, as well as a number of high profile films, such as Transformers 4, Divergent and Jupiter Ascending.
