The School of Communication offered it’s first short term study abroad program to South America last May and it was led by Film and Digital Media Professor John Goheen, who spent  two weeks in Santiago, Chile mentoring the students as they shot and produced documentaries throughout the city.

Professor Goheen, himself an award-winning documentary filmmaker, joined the students in producing a documentary of his own while in Chile, called “Walk the Dog,” about the stray dog population in Santiago.
