FDM professor and photographer Luke Strosnider presented his photo project “Wish You Where Here” at George Eastman House’s Dryden Theatre. You can see excerpts from the talk in the YouTube Video below.
Strosnider’s work focuses on the many possibilities of visual narratives and storytelling, and works with images and their full range of capabilities as measures of time, keepers of memory, and conveyors of information.His photographic work can be found in the collections of the George Eastman House Library, the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division, University of the Arts, and the Pratt Institute among others.
His book I Wish You Where Here, exploring the experience of living in Europe within the space between a resident and a tourist, was recently published by Anchorless Press, Toronto.
